We've eaten here twice and have had great service and food both times. Quaint and quiet little place with great food. My husband got the steak fajitas and I got the steak tacos and both were really good.
So...as an almost weekly diner here - we have to say it's back to superior!! They brought back Brian as a server - he is FANTASTIC. Knows our drink order as soon as we sit down. AND they brought back Speedy (mgr). He is also fantastic. The good seems back on track now AND the drinks (margaritas) are back to being awesome!! Highly recommend this place and am very grateful the owners acknowledged they needed to go back to how it was when they were successful. Love love Azteca express
The food and service here is awesome. It's my favorite Azteca. Best of all, you can hit up the drive thru and get the same great food to go.
Mondays are free queso dip day and Tuesdays are free guacamole day! Getting something delicious for free is never a bad thing. It's nice to have an Azteca on the west end of Davenport. The restaurant is a pretty decent size w/ plenty of booths and tables. They do have a full bar too. The service is always great and I don't think I've ever waited more than 10 minutes, if that, for my food to come out. Normal delicious Azteca!
Azteca Express was a delightful surprise. Tiny place with a big heart! Fresh ingredients, personable service and amazing salsa, too!! If you are near Davenport, IA, do not miss the chance to enjoy. You will not be disappointed
